What is blockchain ?
A blockchain is a distributed database composed of multiples nodes.
Each node store the entire database, when an article or a transaction is pushed into the blockchain it must be validated by at least the majority of the blochain participants. Depending the blockchain logic, the consensus to modify the database is a bit different.
This architecture provide a robust, fast and scalable data storage and add a big security enhancement comparing to classical database.
What does a blockchain look like ?
In the image above, the blockchain is the distributed “fishnet” at the right of the schema, it’s participants are the nodes and are in reality computer.
Each nodes are self-ruled using rules decided by blockchain participants.
If a “hacker” want to falsify an identity or some data, he must “hack” the majority of the participants.
